Finance Action Circle/Community Investment Campaign Circle

  • Treasurer to oversee financial operations and strategy
  • Legal/compliance specialist to ensure adherence to financial regulations and file legal forms.
  • Manage member equity and explore financing options.
  • Bookkeeping, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Manage relationships with potential donors.
  • Explore and secure financing options.
  • Grant researchers and writers to seek and apply for relevant grants
  • Develop and implement the community investment plan
  • Establish funding strategies and allocate resources effectively
  • Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders
  • Oversee the pipeline of community investment projects
  • Establish clear processes for fund allocation

Outreach Action Circle

  • Organize and host information tables at events

  • Welcome and onboard new owners and provide initial information and reach out
  • Recruit owners for volunteer opportunities and action circles within the co-op, matching skills with needs.
  • Organize and host owner meetups and social events to foster community within the co-op.
  • Organize educational workshops on co-op principles and benefits for owners
  • Create and update an FAQ resource to address common owner questions
  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather owner opinions and preferences on co-op matters.
  • Establish and manage a suggestion system for owners to provide feedback.
  • Recognize and appreciate owner contributions through various appreciation initiatives
  • Distribute information surveys to current owners to keep them informed and involved.

Marketing Action Circle

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with co-op values and principles
  • Create and manage brand identity, ensuring consistency across all materials
  • Design marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and posters
  • Manage the co-op’s website and online presence, keeping content fresh and engaging as well as update aspects of the website as needed
  • Coordinate social media efforts and create compelling content across Facebook and Instagram
  • Plan and execute Meta advertising campaigns to increase awareness and attract new owners
  • Conduct market research to understand owner/customer needs and preferences 
  • Update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Create and distribute press releases and media kits for public relations efforts
  • Manage internal communications like newsletters and owner updates

  • Oversee the development and refinement of vision, mission, and objectives.
