Our Story
We are building a community-owned food co-op for the city of Grand Rapids!
While many co-ops exist across the nation, Grand Rapids has not had a flourishing co-op of its own since 2000. Together we are working to bring an amazing grocery store to life within our city, where the products and practices reflect our owners’ priorities! Anyone can shop in our store and everyone can join and become a fellow owner with equal voting power. Democracy in action in the marketplace!

What happens next?
How do I join?
Buying your share will help make our co-op grocery store a reality! To become an owner, your household will buy a one-time equity share. The standard share is $250 per household or, if you are low-income, you can buy our Food For All share of $25. Additionally, we offer scholarships to those who are unemployed and need financial support to become an owner.
